It is a metamorphosis from naturalistic painting to analogue and digital abstraction. I spend a lot of time in nature
and capture my impressions photographically. I paint the subjects from nature in acrylic and oil on canvas.
I am guided by photography, immersing myself meditatively in the image and seeking my own structures. This way,
there are always new details for the viewer to discover. From the naturalistic painted image, I derive analogue and digital abstractions. These aim to provide thematic content for a dialogue between humans and technology.
Every brushstroke, every digital element, is part of a deep dialogue between me, my environment, and the endless possibilities of creation. It is a lengthy process – a painting is created through many layers of paint. I find it exciting
to juxtapose classical painting with digital abstraction.
I print the digitally created abstract images on various materials such as glass or aluminum. They can also be
adapted in size and material to the architectural conditions.
