The Monsters emerge from forms that seem familiar, yet resist any clear classification. They evoke beings, bodies or organisms without representing anything specific.Their forms develop from digital structures, repetitions and transformations. What initially appears abstract suddenly begins to acquire a presence. An arrangement becomes a face, a form becomes a body, a structure seems to look back at us. Yet it is not necessarily the image that changes, but our perception of it. I am interested in The Monsters as surfaces for projection. We recognise something in them because we bring our own experiences, memories and ideas to them. They move between figuration and abstraction, familiarity and strangeness, seriousness and playful openness. What we see in them also emerges within ourselves.
